DTCM and Emirates Airline promote Dubai overseas 'Hello Dubai 2013' campaign

The joint cooperation between the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Emirates Airline to launch the new campaign 'Hello Dubai 2013', this campaign came up to promote Dubai as a global tourist destination throughout the year and during summer time.

The campaign starts on April 15 and runs until 5th August 2013 and it aims to target the travel trade to increase the awareness of Dubai as a leading global destination.

68 hotels, beach hotels and hotel partners will participate in this campaign; whereas Emirates Airline will offer special rates during the period of the campaign.

DTCM and Emirates invited up to 650 key tour operators/travel agents from across the globe to attend the workshop in the first and last week of February 2013.

The first two groups visited Dubai this week and the second group will arrive next month.

The Department of Tourism received the first 200 group at the Ritz-Carlton -Dubai International Financial Centre, attended by Eyad Abdulrahman, Executive Director Media Relations and Business Development, and Abdullah Bin Suwaidan, Deputy Director, Inward Missions.

It was also attend by Badr Abbas, Emirates VP Commerical (UAE) and Thierry Antinori, Emirates Executive Vice President - Sales World Wild.

Eyad Abdulrahman said, "This great campaign came through the continuous collaboration between DTCM and Emirates Airline to promote Dubai as a year round destination that offers great combination of beaches, shopping malls, excellent service quality and experience for all target groups."
