As part of its innovative umbrella of its Leadership Series, Du continued its success in bringing together a group of pioneering industry leaders by introducing its latest Business Xchange forum recently, at the Armani Hotel in Dubai.
The event included collaborative discussions through which Du offered CIOs and ICT professionals innovative techniques and ways in which they can support their business growth while managing costs.
Du explained how public, private and hybrid cloud computing is exploding onto the enterprise scene and causing CIOs and IT leaders to rethink their data centre, sourcing and IT operations strategies and architectures.
Du also discussed at great length the fact that a more integrated IT operations management architecture is required to gain cloud computing benefits of faster speed-of-service delivery at much lower cost.
"We not only provide valuable insights into market trends, but also assist our customers to make informed decisions when selecting cloud management platform suppliers," said Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, Du.
"We look at what the vendor landscape looks like and how IT organizations should navigate the significant changes occurring while making the right decisions on vendors, and product suites for their enterprise. We also look at best practices that are critical to success when implementing cloud computing strategies."
The Business Xchange forum has gained success in the last two years as part of Du's innovative umbrella of Leadership Series. Earlier forums discussed unlocking the power of managed services, managed network IT services and strategic development.
"We have created a platform for collective collaboration in order to elevate the local market and refine its offerings. Through our Business Xchange series, we have brought something rare to the table," added Faraidooni.
