The launch announcement was made in a ceremony attended by Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, Du; Youngwoo Jun, Director, Samsung Gulf Electronics, and Sangwook Lee, Product Head, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

Customers purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE from any Du Shop will be able to enjoy 4G LTE speed by simply subscribing to our 25GB LTE data bundle for a month. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE will be available in Du Shops from 12 December 2012.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE operates on several LTE spectrums (800Mhz, 1800Mhz (as deployed by Du) and 2600Mhz). It has a convenient form factor 230.9 x 157.8 x 8.6mm in size, weighing just 458g.
