The MoU allows both Du and BUiD to pursue innovative research opportunities in project management and business intelligence. It complements Du's Emiratisation programmes and encourages BUiD's UAE nationals, who are studying post graduate courses in project management, to apply for internships at Du.
Speaking on the occasion, Du's Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Ananda Bose said, "This MoU is just the beginning, and we should focus on fostering closer ties to enhance our project management practices. Our partnership will enable Emirati students at BUiD to pursue their academic line of inquiry in a corporate environment. We strongly encourage UAE nationals to apply for internships in project management."
Prof. Abdullah Mohammed Alshamsi, the Vice Chancellorof BUiD added, "We are privileged to have tied up with a company as reputable as Du, to work together for the benefit of our Emirati students. This will create unprecedented experience opportunities that will increase the employability of UAE nationals, which is a core focus both for BUiD and Du."
