Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority honours DEWA

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) attended a ceremony held by DAFZA at the Intercontinental Festival Hotel Dubai to honour its strategic partners from government departments and organizations and recognize their essential key roles in supporting its investment activities and attracting foreign capital.
During the ceremony, DAFZA listed Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) as one of its foremost strategic partners, and recognized it for its fruitful collaboration with DAFZA over past years.
"It gives me great pleasure to thank His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of DAFZA for this honour, and I would like to stress the fact that DEWA is committed to its vision to become A Sustainable World-Class Utility and is effectively contributing to the social, economic and environmental development of the Emirate by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of water and electricity to achieve Dubai's vision. DEWA has also spared no effort to support our efforts to achieve sustainable development and promote Dubai's position as a global hub for trade, finance, and tourism," said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
"Strategic partnerships with government departments and organizations enhance mutual collaboration in terms of sharing knowledge and information, to achieve progress and prosperity for the UAE. Such partnerships also streamline and facilitate the delivery of top quality services, and develop mutual relationships. These achieve the necessary conditions for economic development, improve working conditions, encourage economic competitiveness in the UAE, and provide an integrated workplace where all effective facilities and services are available at state-of-the-art techniques that keep pace with economic progress that the UAE witnesses," added HE Al Tayer.
"We are keen on fostering mutual initiatives with DAFZA to better improve the quality of services delivered to our customers and make the best use out of these partnerships," concluded Al Tayer.
