Dubai-Based automotive aftermarket company seeks major expansions

  • PRESS RELEASE

Dubai-based automotive aftermarket distributor, A-MAP, is seeking major expansions to their distribution network, confirming participation in a number of huge international exhibitions over the next six to 12 months.

With the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry reporting this month that its members have reached a new record for exports and re-exports for the first eight months of the year, showing an increase of 12% year on year increase between January and August of this year, the local trade sector is continuing to lead economic growth.

Capitalising on this position, A-MAP has confirmed participation in several international exhibitions, helping cement its position as the region's leading automotive parts distributor.

"We just took part in Automechanika Frankfurt, the world's leading trade fair for the automotive industry running in from 11 to 16 September - where we met with potential customers to, among other things, expand our distribution network," said Asad Badami, managing director of A-MAP.

"We have also confirmed participation in AAPEX in Las Vegas in late October, which represents the $395 billion global motor vehicle aftermarket. We will also be at Automechanika Shanghai in December and in Johannesburg in March," he added.

A-MAP is one of the UAE's leading automotive part suppliers. Headquartered in Dubai, A-MAP is a genuine 'made in the UAE' success story, having expanded by an astonishing 300% since 2009 and established operations in Africa, Asia, and North America - an achievement largely down to a burgeoning reputation as a go-to supplier and re-exporter of world-class stock such as Solite batteries, Asimco brake pads, Fenix tyres, and RBI rubber products.
