Dubai Chamber celebrates 41st UAE National Day by planting Unity Tree

In line with the recent directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated the 41st UAE National Day with the planting of the Unity Tree.
Said His Excellency, "As we mark the Spirit of the Union on this 41st anniversary of the formation of our country, our hearts are filled with pride. We are lucky to be reaping the fruits of the hard work of our leaders who have set the country on the path to unprecedented economic growth and prosperity."
H.E. Al Ghurair further stated that this initiative of planting the Union Tree by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed pays tribute to the efforts of the founding fathers of the country including the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who have sown the seeds of unity amongst the UAE people and have taught us to live in harmony and peace, he said.
As part of the celebrations, Dubai Chamber organised a line-up of traditional activities including a local dance band, a majlis and a tent alongside the fountain area of the building offering local food and coffee, henna application, knitting lessons and national costumes contest.
The event was enjoyed by the multinational staff and customers who got a taste of the UAE heritage on the occasion of the country's 41st anniversary which was marked with traditional zeal.
