Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry will showcase its e-services at GITEX Technology Week, one of the world's largest and most important information and communication technology trade fairs, taking place this week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
H.E. Hamad Buamim, Director General, Dubai Chamber, said that providing the business community with a variety of e-services was a main priority for the leading non-profit organisation because it helps businesses save time and be more efficient.
"Dubai Chamber is committed to leading Dubai's e-transformation by improving access to its services, simplifying the channels of communication for its members and building a fully-integrated e-community, which will help reinforce Dubai's position as a leading knowledge and economic hub," he said.
"Our participation in GITEX gives us the ideal platform to update the public about our online services in order to help them do business more easily," H.E. Buamim said.
The total e-transactions Dubai Chamber carried out from January to August this year was 589,217 which is a 7.6% increase from the 547,750 transactions we had during the same period last year.
Available on www.dubaichamber.com/dcstaging/e-services, Dubai Chamber's online services allow members to pay renewal fees, pay for training courses and conferences, and sign-up for networking events organised by Dubai Chamber.
Visitors to the website also have easy access to an online commercial directory, the latest studies and economic data, as well as specialised sector-specific information and market trends. The website also features the Chamber Magazine, a business portal which includes news, events and pictures from Dubai Chamber, and Chamber TV, an online video channel.
