More than 300 car enthusiasts were given the opportunity to enjoy a full line-up of Porsche's latest models during the Porsche World Roadshow at Dubai Autodrome this week.
With professional instructors from Germany, and Porsche Centre Dubai representatives on site, Porsche enthusiasts had all their questions answered and enjoyed professional training on mastering various driving techniques such as off-roading, braking, handling and slalom in a controlled and safe environment.
Participants experienced the versatility of the Cayenne on the off road circuit, the nimbleness of a Boxster at slalom, the surprising agility of the Panamera and the sheer thrill of driving a 911 in the environment that it calls home - the race track.
In the afternoons, all attendees were then invited to partake as passengers in the Hot Lap sessions, where the instructors demonstrated the full force of driving a Porsche on the winding Dubai Autodrome circuit.
Vijay Rao, General Manager at Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles said: "Every Porsche model offers outstanding performance, so it is important for drivers to learn how to harness such power safely. The Porsche World Roadshow offers a fun and educational environment with world-class instructors, and is a fantastic opportunity for us to strengthen our relationship with our customers, while providing a great example of Porsche's personalized services."
"Now in its 4th edition, the rising popularity of the roadshow has encouraged us to repeat this event and give even more people a unique flavour of what the Porsche brand has to offer."
The Porsche World Roadshow has been a regular feature around the world for some time. Wherever it is held, participants flock to experience the advanced technical features, power and world-class performance of Porsche's wide range of sports cars and SUVs.
