Dubai Lynx teams up with Youtube to launch 30 second AD competition

The Dubai Lynx 7-Day Brief powered by YouTube, is a new regional contest in search of two talented individuals who wish to showcase their creative flair by producing a 30 second commercial for a non-for-profit organisation.
Participants will have just seven days, until midday (UAE) on Wednesday 13 February, to make a 30 second ad aimed at raising awareness for the charity and upload the film to youtube.com/user/officialdubailynx for the public to view and share further building recognition for the non-for-profit organisation.
From all the entries submitted, two winning ads will be selected by a panel of experts made-up of Dubai Lynx Grand Prix winners from the past three years.
The two winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip to attend the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity during which they will have the unique opportunity of partaking in a 30-minutes one-on-one tutorial with a member of the Dubai Lynx jury.
Emma Lancaster, Director of Dubai Lynx comments, "We are delighted to be teaming up with YouTube to launch this exciting competition. Using video to help a not-for-profit to raise their campaign's awareness and reach new audiences is a very worthy cause. It's also a great way to showcase creative talent that could come from anyone."

Contestants from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen and are eligible to participate.
