Dubai market bounces back on Emaar

The DFM General Index bounced back 064% to reach 1,635.63 points, as market bellwether Emaar Properties closed 0.55% higher at Dhs3.68. Arabtec Construction ended even at Dhs2.60. Earlier in the day, Arabtec said it received a letter of award to build 411 villas and asociated esternal works for Abu Dhabi-based Baniyas Residential Development dedicated for housing of UAE residents. The project's total value is Dhs423m. Investment services firm from Kuwait Almadina lost the most, ending off 5.90% at Dhs0.80.
