Dubai market receives Argentinean delegation

The markets section of Assets Management Department at Dubai Municipality recently received a delegation from Argentina in Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market aiming at introducing the market traders and stimulate trade and investment between the two countries.

Khalifa Hareb, Director of Assets Management Department, said the delegation was introduced about the most important services provided in the market, number of involving companies, volume and quality of work, goods marketed daily, importing countries, sales areas, municipal services for traders and squares for sorting and sales.

The delegation also learned the control and inspection system carried out by the Department in the market to ensure the commitment of shops and companies to the rules and regulations.

The delegation was impressed by the volume and area of Dubai Central Fruit and Vegetable Market and its warehouses. The market contains 168 shops, 73 warehouses and 22 stores.
