Dubai Municipality opens new frontage library

Eng. Abdullah Rafia, Assistant Director General of Dubai Municipality has on Wednesday opened a new frontage library at Dubai Municipality main building in the presence of Salah Amiri, Assiatant Director General, Abdullah Abdul Rahman, Director of Knowledge Management Department and other senior officials.
Eng. Abdullah said the opening of new front desk library is aimed at promoting education, provision of scientific books and dissemination of knowledge and culture among employees.
He stressed the importance of reading and urged other government departments to practice such initiatives to improve the knowledge and capacity of the staff.
Abdullah Abdul Rahman said hundreds of free books provided by the Foundation in diverse areas and tastes aiming to help the book lovers to read widely and leave them after reading for others. Municipality had already launched an initiative during the last period, titled 'Read the book and then leave it to others'.
