Dubai Municipality honours UAE National Football team

Hamid Al Marri, Director of Transportation Department at Dubai Municipality, congratulated UAE National Football team for bagging the Gulf Cup in its 21st edition held in Bahrain.

This came during a reception and honouring ceremony of Mr. Yousef Al Serkal and Mr. Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, President and Vice President of UAE Football Association respectively.

Marri hoped that the team would continue its efforts to achieve more prestigious goals in future and said our team should not stop at this achievement, but to pursuit largest championships in global forums and maintain high spirits enjoyed by our teams taking into account the guidance of leadership and the coach to focus on the spirit of cooperation and commitment.

He praised the work accomplished by the team considering the title Gulf Cup 21 is a great achievement and wished them success in tournaments to come.

He further said that the efforts of young people in all fields of sports contribute to uphold our nation's flag and enhance the reputation of the UAE regionally and internationally.

On his part, Yousef Al Serkal expressed his pride and appreciation for the sincere and tireless efforts and continued support by the government departments and the people of the UAE and extended his sincere thanks and gratitude for the honoring ceremony.
