Dubai Ports (DP) World soar to hit $11.10 at NASDAQ Dubai

The FTSE NASDAQ Dubai UAE 20 Index closed at 1747.16 Wednesday, up 1.47%, from the previous close. Shares of the DP World, the world's third largest port operator, jumped 2.78% to close at $11.10, the highest price level since May 6 this year. Earlier in the day, DPW said it has ordered 19 new Ship To Shore (STS) quay cranes and 50 Rail Mounted Gantry cranes for its Terminal 3 at its headquarter airport in Dubai Jebel Ali. Last week, Dubai's diversified family-owned group Al Habtoor said it eyes a $1.6bn IPO at NASDAQ Dubai in 2013. A NASDAQ Dubai spokesperson declined to comment upon a request by AME Info.
