Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show returns on high tide

Last year's show saw an incredible 6,500 visitors flock to the creek, resulting in 22 boats being sold at a combined price, and based on the growth in demand, this year is set to be another record-breaker.

The show is a specialist event and unique in the region.

Supported by event partners, Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (Ascana) and Emirates NBD, the Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show gives boat buyers intimate access to sellers, financers and insurers all on site throughout the three-day event, effectively providing them with the opportunity to 'buy and sail' on the same day.

With an extensive variety of boats on offer, ranging from Dhs30,000 to Dhs25m, there are a variety of options to appeal to all budgets.

At the top end of the scale, the 'Sunseeker Predator 84' is the most distinctive vessel on display, costing approximately $10m, with its unique black hull giving it an aggressive edge. For something a little less extravagant but equally luxurious, the 'Lagoon Power 43' is a powerful 44ft catamaran, capable of long non-stop crossings and extended cruises, while the sleek and fun 'Spartan 25' is an easy to steer and maintain boat, perfect for beginners.

The ever popular Azimut's will be on show again, including 'Paprika,' a 103 ft Azimut that can carry 8-10 people with vast external leisure areas, and the 'Azimut 43S' which is a fast, luxury yacht with slender lines, horizontal and parallel elliptical windows, and a hardtop which can open completely for an absolute sense of freedom.

Debuting at this year's Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show is the Jet Ski Zone, a dedicated PWC (personal watercraft) space that will provide buyers with the opportunity to view and buy a pre-owned jet ski from as little as Dhs20,000.

Abdulla Ali Al Noon, Marina Operations Manager at Dubai Creek Marina, is already witnessing strong interest in this year's Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show: "Last year's event had an impressive turnout and demand for quality pre-owned vessels in the region has continued to steadily increase over the last twelve months. The interest we have had from both buyers and sellers has been overwhelming, which is why we have expanded the exhibition and retail areas, as well as incorporating a dedicated Jet Ski Zone for this year's event."
