Dubai's $1bn Taj Arabia to be completed by mid-2015

Link Global, the developer of the $1bn replica of the Taj Mahal in Dubai's FalconCity, has said the construction of the project is slated to begin in June and is expected to be completed by mid-2015, Gulf News has reported. The 400-room, five-star Taj Arabia hotel will be managed by Indian-based hotel operator Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, said the director of Link Global, Arun Mehra. The project will also include the Moghul Gardens, a courtyard-style retail area specialising in wedding requirements, a wedding hall with a capacity for 3,000 guests and two service apartment buildings for wedding guests.
