Dubai's Global Village readies early opening

Global Village, a member of Tecom Investments, has announced it is to welcome visitors earlier than usual this year to cover the period of the Eid El Adha, making this season the longest in its 17-year history, Gulf News has reported. The event will open its gates to visitors on October 21 in time for the expected influx of visitors this Eid Al Adha, it said. With a planned closing date of March 30, 2013, the village will be open for 161 days.
