Dubai's Rmal acquires Marco Pierre White's portfolio

Rmal Hospitality, part of the Dubai-based Al Fahim Group, has signed an agreement to buy the global portfolio of British chef Marco Pierre White's brands, Gulf News has reported. According to the deal, Rmal has acquired the portfolio of White's brands, which include Frankie's and Wheeler's restaurants, and the rights to develop them in all territories apart from the UK and Ireland. The first restaurant under the agreement, the Marco Pierre White Grill, is set for opening at the upcoming Conrad Hotel in Dubai, due to open in August 2013, Rmal said.
