Top international institutional investors gathered in London for the Second EFG Hermes London MENA Conference, where they will meet face-to-face with senior management at leading listed companies from the Middle East and North Africa.

The conference will see more than 100 buy-side investors representing over 77 UK, US, European and Gulf Cooperation Council firms meeting with C-suite executives from 31 companies spanning nine MENA countries today and tomorrow.

As the premier London investor conference focusing on the Arab World, the Second Annual EFG Hermes MENA Conference pairs MENA issuers with international investors through one-on-one meetings carefully designed to maximize face time. This year's conference features 31 companies representing a combined market cap of USD 88 Billion. Presenting companies are drawn from Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Jordan and Palestine.

"The region boasts a consumer market of more than 385 million, increasingly diversified economies, and plentiful natural resources. We remain committed to proactively presenting investors with our insights on regional opportunities as they arise." said Mohamed Ebeid, Co-Head of EFG Hermes Securities Brokerage.

The conference provides an important forum for fund managers and other institutional investors to explore compelling investment opportunities in sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, financial services, building materials, real estate and hospitality and consumer goods.

"The large number of top companies and investment firms attending this year's London MENA Conference underscores the continued interest of investors in developments in the region irrespective the political backdrop in some of the main MENA markets," explained EFG Hermes Head of Research Wael Ziada.

EFG Hermes is the Arab world's premier investment bank and the market leader in securities brokerage, asset management, private equity and research. With a physical presence in nine countries in the region, the firm is able to provide investors with unparalleled access to the high-growth markets of the MENA region.
