Egypt to allow Qatari construction material into Gaza until 2015

Egyptian authorities have approved 45 trucks carrying construction materials from Qatar to enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, the Peninsula has reported. The trucks were carrying 1100 cubic metres of gravel that will be used for construction work and building roads. Egypt will also allow cement and steel into Gaza for the next two years, as work on the Qatari initiative for rebuilding Gaza continues, the report said.
