Egypt to build $100m side canal in East Port Said Port

Egyptian transportation minister Hatem Abdel-Latif has announced the allocation of $100m to build a side canal at the East Port Said Port. The project, which aims to boost container handling at the port, is part of the Suez Canal's integrated project launched by the government to attract investment and provide employment opportunities, said Abdel-Latif.
