Egypt plans reconciliation deals with troubled real estate developers

Egyptian housing minister Tarek Wafik has said the government is to reach a reconciliation agreement with a number of real estate developers soon, Ahram has reported. The minister, who preferred to keep the developers' names anonymous, confirmed that a reconciliation deal would retrieve the state's financial rights in land that was sold at below-market value to developers before the January 25 revolution.
