Egypt's Hurghada has seen the opening of one of the first Red Sea resort's to not serve alcohol, Mena has reported. The owner of Le Roi Hotel, Yasser Kamal said the decision to build an alcohol-free resort was an attempt to promote a new tourism approach, rather than being influenced by one ideology or force. "The idea of launching a hotel without alcohol is not to adhere to any particular movement but rather to provide a new kind of tourism," said Kamal. The hotel, which has 134 rooms and 35 suites, has allocated the top floor and a swimming pool to women only.
