Iranian tourism officials have said a second group of Iranian tourists are set to arrive in Egypt in coming weeks, despite reports from Cairo about suspension of all tourist trips from Islamic Republic, Fars news has reported. Rasha Azaizi, the tourism ministry spokeswoman said on Monday that the government halted commercial flights from Iran until mid-June. "Talks were held and there was an agreement to postpone the arrival of [Iranian] visitors to mid-June," said Azaizi. However, the organiser of Iranian tours to Egypt, Majid Abulfathi, rejected the suspension, saying no time limit has been mentioned in the Iran-Egypt tour agreement, adding that the agreement is still under implementation. "Despite the recent remarks made by the Egyptian tourism minister, there is not halt in the Iranian companies' tours of Egypt," Abulfathi said.
