- PRESS RELEASE
EIA is preparing to host the up and coming 2nd Iraq Aviation, Cargo and Logistics Conference and Exhibition at the International Trade Fairs, on November 7&8th.
Senior KRG ministers and officials are expected to attend alongside Airport Directors from throughout Iraq and delegations from the regulatory body for Iraq aviation, the Baghdad based, civil aviation authority, ICAA. A delegation from IATA, the International Air Transport Association, is also expected to attend, alongside commercial entities such as Boeing, Incheon International Airport, Emirates Airlines, Serco and a host of other big names in the Aviation, Cargo and Logistics industry.
Airport Director, Talar Faiq said:
" EIA is looking forward to hosting the second Iraq Aviation, Cargo and Logistics Conference and we look forward to welcoming delegates from outside and within Iraq itself. The aviation industry is developing and as with cargo and logistics development there is a need to look ahead, make informed decisions and prioritize if potential is to be realised. This exhibition and conference is part of an effort to do just that.
EIA continues to grow and we can expect close to one million passengers in 2012, a major milestone. Cargo is also increasing rapidly, with volume up 67% during the first 8 months of 2012, verses the same period in 2011. To sustain that growth we must look ahead and plan for the future. The Aviation, Cargo and Logistics Conference will help that process."
The 2nd Iraq Aviation Cargo and Logistics Conference is hosted by EIA and promoted and organised by Arabian Reach, a Dubai based events and publishing company.
