Headed by President Ziyad bin Mafhouz, Elaf Group of Companies for Travel, Tourism and Hotels has signed a strategic contract to accommodate 6,000 pilgrims from Egypt during the 1433 Hajj season at the 'Elaf Al Multaqa Hotel', Makkah.
It also follows recent industry reports which expect this year's Hajj season to gain larger momentum as travel and tourism agencies ensure compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Hajj.
The contract was signed by Mr. Ziyad bin Mafhouz and H.E. Major General Mohammed Ibrahim Al Attar, Assistant Minister for Interior, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Effat, Vice-President, and Mr. Ahmed Abdullah, Sales & Marketing Manager, Elaf Group.
Bin Mafhouz stressed on the need to use all available resources to reinforce relations with neighboring countries and Egypt in particular, as well as to meet all the needs of pilgrims and Ummrah performers.
"Our development-oriented moves aim to provide better and value-added services to guests," he added. During the event, Bin Mahfouz further touched upon Elaf's upcoming projects, namely Elaf Bakkah Hotel, set to offer up to 835 rooms.
Attendees also commended the Group and the Department of Hajj & Ummrah for their effective role in providing the best services for pilgrims and Ummrah performers.
