Emaar's Q3 revenue more than doubled on higher apartment sales

The developer of the world's tallest tower in Dubai, Emaar Properties, has said its quarterly revenue from apartment sales has more than doubled from a year earlier, Bloomberg has reported. Revenue from apartment sales climbed to Dhs567m ($154m) in the three months ended September 30, from Dhs183m a year earlier, the developer said. However, revenue from sale of villas fell to Dhs123m from Dhs126m, while income from the sale of land and commercial units dropped to Dhs109m from Dhs798m, the company said.
