Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2013 literary November at Dar Al Adaab 'House of Literature'

Aspiring poets and authors can hone their craft at a series of Workshops and Masterclasses for both children and adults to be held in November at Dar Al Adaab (House of Literature), the permanent home of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.
The classes will be conducted by three of LitFest 2012's most popular guests: poet Imtiaz Dharker, author Tim Bowler and performer and presentation skills mentor, Fiona Lindsay.
9 and 10 November sees poet, documentary-maker and artist Imtiaz Dharker returning to Dubai to conduct four Masterclasses for Adults and Young Adults. In these workshops Imtiaz will help aspiring poets unlock the secrets of writing great poetry.
Imtiaz will also lead an evening of poetry to be held outdoors in the Literary Courtyard on 10 November. Imtiaz will be joined by a group of Dubai based poets
Dubbed the UK's most compelling and original writer for teenagers, Carnegie Medal winner Tim Bowler also returns to conduct four Creative Writing Masterclasses for respectively Young Adults and Adults. In these sessions author, Tim Bowler tells you what you need to know to get started: how to structure your book, develop a plot and create realistic characters. His workshops are on the 16th & 17th November, 2012.
Both Tim and Imtiaz will also be teaching workshops for the winners of the 2012 Oxford University Press Story Writing Competition and Taaleem Poetry Award respectively and visiting schools and colleges.
Our November programme will be completed by a special performance from Dubai Youth Theatre on 24 November.
