Emirates and Etihad cancel flights to New York due to Hurricane Sandy

Audio: Emirates and Etihad Airways have both cancelled flights in and out of New York as the Eastern Seaboard of the USA braces itself for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Phil Blizzard looks at the flights cancelled by Gulf carriers and points travellers in the direction to get updates on the operations of UAE airlines. Global estimates suggest that 6000 flights have been axed due to the imminent arrival of the 'super storm'.
