Emirates Extrusion Factory to increase annual production capacity by 6,000 tons

The Ajman-based subsidiary of Masharie LLC - the private equity arm of Dubai Investments PJSC (DI), has signed a deal to bring an additional 18.7 MN of press capacity.

Emirates Extrusion currently operates three presses with a combined rated capacity of 18,000 tons a year. The new extrusion is being supplied by Foshan Cometal Industrial Machinery Co. Ltd. (FCIM), and will be installed in EEF's facility in Dubai. Fully furnished with superior Italian design and engineering expertise, the custom-made machines will be manufactured at Foshan Cometal engineering facility in China. The Dhs10m installation will have a singular capacity to produce 6,000 tons of extruded aluminium.

The new extrusion line, designed with high automation levels, will enable EEF to offer the most reliable aluminium profiles with a guarantee of durability and considerable service life. The modern solutions can be used for facade glazing, furniture, showcase units and interior decoration.

FCIM is a joint-venture firm established by global extrusion leaders, Cometal Engineering Group one of the major suppliers extrusion products in the world. The company has previously installed two complete extrusion lines for Masharie LLC subsidiary, White Aluminium Extrusion with a capacity of 12,000 tons a year, managed by the same team of EEF totalling 36,000 tons yearly.
