Emirates Holidays, part of Emirates' Destination and Leisure Management (D&LM) division, is set to begin franchising the brand in global markets, including those without tour operators, to create more business opportunities, Gulf News has reported. Marc Bennett, Emirates' divisional senior vice president of D&LM said that in regulated markets, the firm will work with partners that have licensing expertise and knowledge, while in those that are not regulated, they will target exclusive GSA partners. Emirates Holidays will be franchised in the UK first, and the brand is expected to reach the US, Scandinavia, Central Europe, India, Korea, China and Japan, he said.
