  • PRESS RELEASE

Norton by Symantec has launched its new Norton Partner Portal (NPP) to support its growing base of channel partners in the United Arab Emirates. With its focus on easy navigation and new social media tools, the new Norton Partner Portal is designed to streamline content and updates, and support business growth.

With increasing demand for the Norton product portfolio across the country, Norton set out to provide its partners with a new set of dynamic tools, building on the existing sales, marketing and technical information hosted in the Portal.

NortonSocial is a free marketing tool that enables partners to receive and repost news from Norton on their own social networks.

The new feature takes away the need to manually sift through high volumes of content. In three clicks, partners receive the news they want, edit it and then repost it on their chosen Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts.

Norton Channel News gives each partner the power to tailor their communications and effectively create their own news channel, featuring only the most relevant and up-to-date stories.

"Our channel business is growing rapidly and the new Norton Partner Portal will help our partners access all the Norton information and tools they need to better serve their customers, today and in the future. With these new features, we aim to make our resellers the trusted source of Norton content for their followers. No one else is offering anything like NortonSocial and it marks a new, exciting direction for the brand," says Tamim Taufiq, Head of Consumer Sales, MENA Norton.

"Norton Partner Portal is an easy to navigate, clear and concise tool which has assisted in sales of Norton products. The Norton Partner Portal helps with current promotions, price lists and product support. It also has a resource library and some very welcome free internal use licenses as an added benefit, along with information about current distributors," commented, Tamim Taufiq, Head of Consumer Sales, MENA.
