Etihad Airways named official carrier for Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), announced that Etihad Airways will be the official carrier and one of the main sponsors of the second annual Abu Dhabi Air Expo, taking place from 5th March until 7th March 2013, at Al Bateen Executive Airport, Abu Dhabi's dedicated business aviation airport.
Abu Dhabi Air Expo is a platform for the leaders in the general aviation sector to share and promote their latest innovations, from ultra-lights to transcontinental jets, to flight schools and new equipment, with a continuously growing audience of businesses, pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Abu Dhabi Air Expo, General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport, said, "After the success of last year's Exhibition, ADAC is looking forward to hosting the second Air Expo in Abu Dhabi again at Al Bateen Executive Airport, and is optimistic that many new partnerships, important for the growth of the general aviation industry here in Abu Dhabi, will form during the three day' show. ADAC is delighted to have Etihad Airways' support and commitment for an event that is vital to the success of the general aviation industry here in the Capital."
Hareb Mubarak Al Muhairy, Etihad Airways' Vice President - United Arab Emirates, said: "As the national airline of the UAE, we are proud to be the official airline of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013. Last year's event was a huge success and there is great anticipation ahead of this year's Expo. We are proud to partner with our colleagues Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) and look forward to welcoming thousands of visitors to the UAE's capital from 5 - 7 March."
Abu Dhabi Air Expo, which will include nearly 80,000 m² of exhibition space, will showcase over 90 aircraft and bring together nearly 150 companies offering their products and services.
