Etihad pays India's Jet $70m to acquire Heathrow slots

Etihad Airways has bought three pairs of slots at London's Heathrow Airport from India's Jet Airways for $70m, Reuters has reported. "The purchase is part of a sale and leaseback agreement signed on Tuesday," the Abu Dhabi-based airline said, adding that Jet would continue flying to London using the slots.
