Etisalat Misr and Huawei sign strategic partnership agreement

Etisalat, mobile operator in the Egyptian market, and Huawei, the leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, have taken their existing collaboration to a new level by signing a strategic partnership agreement that will introduce new key technologies and business solutions to Etisalat Misr regarding MBB, VAS, B2B, Green Energy, CRM, LTE, FMC etc. aiming at overcoming the challenges in the Egyptian telecom industry and enhancing customer satisfaction in terms of quality, speed and reliability.
Mr. Jason Li, Chief of Joint Regions Committee of Huawei, commented on the agreement saying: "We have enjoyed a strong strategic partnership with Etisalat Misr for more than six years. We are very proud to be associated with a company who has not only maintained their leadership in a highly competitive market, but also, through their innovation and corporate social responsibility has become one of the most admired companies in the region. We are looking forward to a long and reciprocally beneficial relationship to provide an enhanced customer experience."
In the same perspective, Mr. Saeed Al Hamli, Etisalat Misr CEO, explained, "Going to the market with a strategic partner like Huawei is of prime importance for our operations. We are convinced that Etisalat Misr customers will obtain immediate advantages from Huawei innovative and reliable technologies."
Mr. Haitham Abdul Razzak, Etisalat Misr CTO confirmed that signing such a remarkable agreement takes Etisalat - Huawei Successful cooperation to a higher level of strategic partnership enabling Etisalat Misr to continue maintaining its leadership in the Egyptian Market through the introduction of new technologies and solutions.
While Mr. Zou Zhilei, President of Huawei North Africa Region stated, "In the recent two years, especially in year 2012, the mutual understanding and trust was enhanced remarkably and the cooperation was boosted."
During the visit, Etisalat Misr top management delegation seized the opportunity to visit CMCC, the largest operator in world, where Etisalat Misr and CMCC exchanged beneficial ideas about business strategy, especially on MBB Monetization, and concluded their trip by visiting CMCC South Base where the data center of CMCC is located.
