Etisalat offers international calls at local rates

Etisalat introduced a new 'Wasel International Add-on', which allows Wasel prepaid customers to make international calls at prices equivalent to that of local calls.
With the new 'Wasel International Add-on', customers will pay only 0.5 fils per second for international calls - same rate as they pay for making domestic calls - when they call 6 destinations: Etisalat networks in Egypt & Sri Lanka and all networks in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh & China.
Billing is on per second basis and the rate is applicable any time of the day, every day of the week. A call set-up fee of AED1 per call will be applied at the beginning of the call.
Wasel prepaid customers can subscribe to the offer for free by dialing *141# or by sending "IDD" as an sms to 1010.

The latest offer comes after a string of moves by Etisalat in recent months offering UAE consumers improved versatility and superior value for money
