Etisalat partners with Sharjah Heritage Days at Kalba

Etisalat announced its partnership with Sharjah Heritage Days at Kalba under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to support and spread awareness on the cultural heritage of UAE.
The opening ceremony will take place at 5.00pm on 17 April at Heritage Village, Kalba City. It will be attended by Sheikh Haitham Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of H.H. Ruler's Emiri Court, Kalba and other senior executives from Kalba City Muncipal council, Media and Culture department and department heads from Etisalat Northern Emirate offices. The closing ceremony will take place at 5.00pm on 25 April, 2013 followed by an awards ceremony.
Mohamed Al Hammadi, Acting Deputy General Manager - East Coast, said, "Today in our fast paced lives it is important to remain connected with our past especially maintaining our true identities and cultural values. Such events help our younger generation enhance their knowledge on historical facts and forefather's contribution to the development of the country. Etisalat's partnership with Sharjah Heritage Days will help us add value and contribute to build knowledge for the future generations."
The other main highlights include increasing knowledge on old vocabularies to the new generation and ancient values. The emiratis true cultural identity is signified at the event and is a reminder to the younger generation of their culture identity, pride of their forefathers and the foundation of the country.
