Etisalat signs MOUs with Ajman's Municipality and Planning Department and Sharjah Municipality

Etisalat has signed MOUs with both Ajman's Department of Municipality and Planning and Sharjah Municipality which aim to harness Etisalat's communications and information technology (ICT) capabilities to develop the infrastructure at each of the organizations.

Mr Abdul Aziz Hamad Taryam, General Manager, Northern Emirates Region at Etisalat signed the MOUs with H.E. Yahya Ibrahim Al Reyaysa, Director General of Ajman's Department of Municipality and Planning Department and Mr Riyad Abdulla Bin Aylan, Deputy Director of Sharjah Municipality.

Under the MOUs, Etisalat is responsible for preparing a plan to implement infrastructure and ICT solutions, as well as smart solutions, for projects at Ajman's Department of Municipality and Planning and Sharjah Municipality.

Etisalat will also make a detailed study of the ICT business needs at each of the organizations to enhance work quality levels and enable them to integrate the latest global technical developments.

Mr Taryam said these agreements demonstrate Etisalat's commitment to implementing a strategy in line with the government's direction to provide support for entities across all sectors.

"Etisalat is determined to harness its expertise and capabilities to develop unique infrastructures for Ajman's Department of Municipality and Planning and Sharjah Municipality by using top-level information and communications technology solutions. In achieving this, we can help raise the overall excellence levels of their businesses," said Mr Taryam.

Mr Yahya Ibrahim Al Reyaysa from the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman thanked Etisalat for its continued support to institutions in both the government and private sectors in the country.

Mr Riyad Abdulla Bin Aylan from Sharjah Municipality also expressed his satisfaction at signing the MOU with Etisalat.

"This partnership is extremely important especially as the municipality's work requires the supply of high quality services to the public in Sharjah and its areas, using the latest technological tools. The municipality aims to benefit from the cutting-edge ICT solutions provided by Etisalat."
