- PRESS RELEASE
Event Camp Middle East starts, Monday 24th September. An example of a live hybrid event is taking place in Dubai, Bahrain, Sydney and online worldwide, creating the first ever 'Event Camp Middle East' 'ECME12'.
"ECME12 aims to be a catalyst for change within the events industry, driving innovation and inspiring ideas," said Josh Dry, Marketing Executive Smartshow Ltd.
"We have a great line up of expert speakers from around the world; Social Media Guru Liz King, revered industry leader Corbin Ball (both from the USA), Paul Cook from the UK, Rudd Jansen from Switzerland and a top notch panel from Sydney, Australia. They will be leading debates and posing questions to the audience on topics like sustainability, hybrid events, social media within events, mobile apps and creating communities in an international event" he added.
The event stimulates discussion with the industry and as such encourages questions. Questions can be tweeted via the hash tag #ecme12 to any of the speakers, in any of the sessions - while in-room participants have the added advantage of having their questions answered first hand.
With 3 great speakers Ajay Bhojwani, Husam Jandal and Lewa Abu Khait lined up for Dubai and myself and Ali Sabkar the Social Media Club President and Chairman of the SMMF leading Bahrain, we hope to get some great conversations going within the region.
Registration is open and event professionals can pay at the door, respectively with discounts available for bizladies and social media club members.
Anyone can watch online via the ECME website. Participation is FREE for anyone interested and can be accessed by simply logging on to the site and watching 'live'.
