Event Description

Naysayers would suggest abbreviating current and future EPC projects in the face of the current economic climate. To do so would impeach all the economic efforts undertaken in the GCC in the past decade. The International Monetary Fund's(IMF) outlook for the region in 2009 is a GDP of 6%, still higher than the global average. Thus, it is only inevitable that EPC projects should be sustained at current levels, with a more studied approach: identifying and managing risks, utilising the features of split/multi contracts and minimising hiccups in project delivery by effective communication between owners and EPC contractors. EPC would be the definitive forum for both EPC contractors and owners to both discuss various ways to handle their projects from the conceptual to delivery phase. Every single aspect of the projects would be discussed in-depth, allowing owners and contractors to discuss their differences and ways to streamline the EPC projects. Over a period of two days, delegates will be exposed to speakers from leading EPC contractors and project owners who have worked successfully with their contractors. Designed to bring out the very best of world class EPC practices, this forum would be the only platform EPC stakeholders need to navigate through the vagaries of EPC projects. Benefits of Attending
