The Big 5 PMV

A central meeting point and sourcing platform for construction industry professionals in the Middle East - The Big 5 PMV is an annual trade show which takes place in Dubai and is dedicated to the construction Plant, Machinery, Equipment and Vehicles sector. The Big 5 PMV was launched in 2007 as part of the Middle East's largest and most important construction trade show, The Big 5. The Big 5 PMV provides exhibitors with the opportunity to promote their products and services to key industry professionals in the prosperous Gulf region. For 4 days, construction machinery manufacturers and distributors from across the globe use the Big 5 PMV as a unique platform to meet face-to-face with visitors as they attend specifically to learn about and purchase the latest products in the market.

The outdoor exhibition area is a spectacle not to be missed with towering cranes, mammoth trucks and whole ranges of brands from mini excavators to gigantic mobile concrete pumps on display. Live demonstrations take place throughout the day so visitors can see machines in action!

Big 5 PMV 2008 attracted over 6,400 dedicated visitors from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Visitors to the second edition of PMV increased by 29% from 2007 and included professionals from some of the region's most influential construction companies. These included plant engineers, mechanical engineers, consultants, architects and contractors.

Big 5 PMV 2008 almost doubled in size with 386 companies exhibiting at the show (195 were present in 2007). The Big 5 PMV is a dedicated arena for plant, machinery, equipment, tools & construction vehicles that provides the region with a showcase for this important construction sector.
