Piling and Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia

The inaugural Piling & Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia Summit will bring you a variety of innovative piling techniques that will help you minimise project time, presented through outstanding case studies by regional luminaries and international experts. At the request of a number of Saudi piling contractors who recently attended Piling & Deep Foundations Middle East, the region's most successful geotechnical event attended by over 200 engineers, IQPC will now host Piling & Deep Foundations Saudi Arabia to tackle a multitude of engineering problems specific to the kingdom.

Principal officers from Saudi Arabia's biggest contractors, and expert engineering consultants, will present never-heard-before case studies and papers at the landmark summit, to be held in Jeddah on the 7 - 10 November 2009.

-Minimise pile material usage and project time by optimising foundation design
-Prevent redesign by carrying out cost-effective site investigations to detect cavities
-Tackle the high groundwater table through implementation of horizontal grouted blankets and other innovative techniques
-Execute time-saving strategies, including core barrels, to confront boulders in the ground
-Maximise pile end bearing capacities in coralline strata
-Increase productivity with new piling techniques for hard granite
-Analyse the latest research on pile behaviour in expanding clays and collapsible soils
