4th Annual PPP Middle East Forum

Utilising PPP as the driver of efficiency and innovation in socioeconomic infrastructure development to support sustainable economic growth Today, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) should prevail as the key to hasten infrastructure development, efficiency gains and knowledge transfer as the MENA region undertakes rapid economic diversification. It is now vital for involving parties to work collectively aiming in eliminating high risk perceptions, low business confidence and security uncertainties that have exacerbated commitments in PPPs.

For PPP to function as an indispensable tool, continuous collaboration and understanding is essential between the public and private sectors. Whilst governments in the region strive to establish and promote a transparent and home-grown PPP framework, it is crucial for private sector to combine forces in the aspects of risk sharing, financing and project management towards delivering quality social and economic infrastructures.
