Leadership for Superior Corporate Agility
Event Description
It is a new era. To win in an increasingly dynamic, ambiguous, and volatile environment, leadership teams in most industries must be agile - flexible to react to early signs and act on them quickly. These are considerable challenges even in normal times. The only thing we truly know is that the future will be different. Hence, we need to build organisations that can cope with these challenges rather than to embark on ongoing and disruptive change processes.
An agile organisation needs good decision making at all levels - from the center to the periphery; tapping into the full potential of the people, the operating model, IT resources and leadership practices. The task is to synchronise decision making throughout the organisation. It involves change in organisational culture, leadership, and systems as reflected in norms, incentives, operating practices, principles, and processes.
It is so obvious: People are the most important assets. But, good intentions are not good enough to win the game in today's operating environment. In the increasingly complex operating environment of organisations, where stakes on even small decisions are high, leaders need to rely on employees at the periphery to make decisions as well. The task is to make it real: Creating an environment where people focus on purposeful, value adding tasks, while sharing what they know will unlock creativity and improve performance.
The Leadership for Superior Corporate Agility workshop offers a seven step coaching approach and a diagnostic tool which will deliver insights in supporting leadership in a new era. It is based on 10 years of research with a variety of organisations from around the world.
During this workshop delegates will look into revising their approach to performance measurement, strategic planning, strategy implementation, human resources processes, and corporate governance to support corporate leadership for agility, innovation, and growth.
