Kingdom Downstream Technology Summit 2012
Event Description
The Kingdom is the largest economy in the MENA region and is further enhancing its position through heavy investments in expanding its oil facilities and building new plants. The country's national oil company, Saudi Aramco, is planning to invest $200 billion to expand its refining capacity and oil and gas exploration as well as increasing its production to 8 million barrels per day. These developments create a need for technology that will support the Kingdom in implementing its projects with least environmental impact for a sustainable growth of its refining and petrochemical industry.
The five-day summit will explore the best technologies that will drive the Kingdom's crude oil refining and petrochemical expansion, bringing together government officials, industry leaders and professionals, who will share their expertise and educate the attendees on the industry innovations through keynote addresses, interactive discussions and case studies.
