Event Description
The LEED AP BD+C credential provides a standard for professionals participating in the design and construction phases of high-performance, healthful, durable, affordable and environmentally sound commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential buildings. This course is offered to denote practical knowledge of the Green Building Design + Construction LEED rating systems: LEED for New Construction, LEED for Schools and LEED for Core & Shell.
►Objectives
This Seminar is designed to help you learn about the LEED Green Building Rating System and certification process for Building Design & Construction, which includes New Construction, Core and Shell and Schools. This seminar will help prepare you to take the new GBCI LEED AP for Building Design & Construction exam.
►Possible Attendance:
This workshop is intended for building owners, architects, contractors, designers, and all other professions involved in implementing LEED for New Construction projects or pursuing GBCI's LEED AP+ credential for Building Design & Construction.
►Structure:
8 hours to be carried out over 2 days including presentation, and valuable supporting documents.All topics are geared toward understanding LEED for New Construction and preparing you for GBCI's LEED AP+ credential for Building Design + Construction Our instructors are experts in LEED and have real world experience working on LEED projects. Many examples are provided showing actual LEED projects, as well as an in-depth review of the types of exam questions you can expect to see on the exam.
