ExxonMobil participates in two oil concessions in Abu Dhabi. The company holds a 28% interest in the Upper Zakum offshore field, one of the world's largest oil fields, which is operated by the Zakum Development Company (ZADCO), a joint venture company.

ExxonMobil also holds a 9.5% interest in the onshore concession, which is operated by the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operation (ADCO), a joint venture company. In 2007, the ExxonMobil Technology Center opened in Abu Dhabi to provide ZADCO staff working on Upper Zakum access to ExxonMobil's most advanced technology in the areas of reservoir management, drilling technologies and production operations.

ExxonMobil downstream affiliates or joint ventures in the UAE market lubricants and chemical products to customers throughout the Middle East.

A selection of ExxonMobil's technology portfolio will be on display at ExxonMobil's exhibition, located at Stand A08 in Hall 4. The exhibition will include an interactive digital model that will provide an overview of the ZADCO 750 project, which is an example of the company's involvement in large-scale integrated projects in the region.
