Ezdan to build 5,000 residential units in Qatar

Qatar-based property developer, Ezdan Holding Group has announced plans to build 10 new residential complexes in the country, the Peninsula has reported. The new projects, most of which are to be located in Al Wakra, will offer over 5,000 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Of these, nine villages will be located in Al Wakra, while the remaining one will be built in the north of Doha, Ezdan said. The company has reported a net profit of QR408.7m for the financial year ended December 31, 2012, up 18.32% over the QR345.4m achieved in 2011.
