Openness' and 'transparency' are key components of FANR's nuclear regulatory programme,"

The forum was held by FANR's officials and representatives from various departments, and in cooperation with the Western Region Municipality and the Abu Dhabi Education Council. The public were able to ask questions about FANR's regulatory work, scholarships, employment opportunities and its responsibility within the nuclear programme.

FANR will be conducting more similar public forums in the next few months to introduce UAE public to FANR's role in ensuring the safe, secure and peaceful uses of the nuclear programme in the UAE.
